CODE AGENT SUMMER CAMPS

Agents will be instructed on the creation and personalization of their own YouTube channel, encompassing the crafting of distinctive channel art, profile pictures, and video thumbnails. They will receive guidance on the process of recording, editing, and uploading videos. Throughout the program, agents will scrutinize popular YouTube content and gain insights into copyrights and fair use, equipping them with the skills needed to embark on a journey as a YouTuber!

Agents will discover the art of self-expression and unleash their creativity through code while collaborating to create amusing, spooky, and thrilling cartoons in Scratch—an MIT-developed, kid-friendly, visual programming environment. Throughout this endeavor, agents will elevate their understanding of fundamental coding concepts alongside enhancing their storytelling skills.

Embark on an exhilarating exploration into the domain of 3D design and printing with our 3D printing summer camp. Agents will immerse themselves in the captivating realm of TinkerCAD, mastering the skills of 3D modeling and printing. Agents will not only acquire practical experience with TinkerCAD but also uncover valuable insights, techniques, and best practices for materializing their imaginative creations. Deploy your inner inventor and witness the enchanting fusion of technology and imagination.

Agents will engage in coding to discover the art of programming music using an application called Sonic Pi. They will merge music and computer science principles, sparking a fresh enthusiasm in the realm of digital arts. Agents will replicate songs, construct original soundscapes, generate unique beats, and even perform live using code. They will have the capability to utilize Sonic Pi from home, allowing them to continue refining and expanding their musical creations even after the camp concludes.
